To increase professionalism among Iowa rental property owners and managers, to provide our members with information on local, state and national issues that effect housing, to insure that new legislation protects the rights of landlords as well as tenants, and to provide our members with educational programs designed to meet the needs of today.
- A 29-year-old association serving IOWA landlords, managers and real estate brokers.
- Assisting in the formulation of law governing landlords and tenants and have formed The IOWA Landlord PAC (Political Action Committee).
- Utilizing our own lobbyists to monitor legislative bills affecting landlords, introducing legislation for landlords (This lobbyists also has a regular column in our monthly Newsletter keeping you updated on the events of the hill).
- Providing standard forms/laws for use with managing rental property.
- Forms Library and Templates.

increased number of fires in Iowa recently we will be discussing fire
safety/new smoke detector regulations and what to do if you do have a fire
in one of your units.
